Grand Award of Design - Pioneer, to Luna!

The joy when great work & design is awarded! Svensk Form, Stiftelsen Svensk Industridesign & Teknikföretagen gave us the second Award (earlier Design S!). Why we think this is major; a product that generates a daily USE (waterless, nutrient capturing toilet) that helps HEAL the ecosystem is being dubbed product of the year is important from a cultural perspective. It hopefully can help the public to re-think its relationship to the earth, but it also confirms there is an actual need and business around the item. The procedure of pooping and peeing is one of the most essential acts of being human, and without that part docked into the ecosystem we lose our sense of understanding that we ARE nature. The question of sanitation needs to be centered in our culture.

Putting LIFE back into lifestyle (and it feels GOOD being someone who’s worked with fashion + sports / street  brands...).
