Dezeen: Harvest Moon @ Furniture Fair

Co-creative direction for Stockholm Furniture Fair for Harvest Moon. To focus on how LUNA works, and enable behavioral change at a fair where the outer form is usually the most important, we built two life cycles for urine/faeces and to visualize the pump function, rig a water barrel (perhaps not the most beautiful object at the fair =) ), including Gardenia hoses, as well as composts. It felt apperent to integrate the products and the system itself into its prevailing context; i.e. the standard materials from the fair. Fittingly, we had kitchen exhibitors next to us, so from table to soil…!

And then I, Maria, got to talk about the relationship between sanitation and modernity (as who I am with a post-structuralist mother and a farmer for a grandfather) too! The result can also be viewed on the best global design/architect site Dezeen!
