Case: Luna, the next gen water-free toilet

And soon: the next gen sanitation system! At the heart of the transition to a regenerative society, both culturally and materially; there is the question of how we look at, and transform, our waste, and that means our human waste included. The procedures of pooping and peeing are some of the most essential acts of being human, and without that part docked into the ecosystem we lose our sense of understanding that we ARE nature. Our goal is to improve the waterless toilet and make it the most attractive of the future, as well as create cost- and energy-efficient toilet systems. Because in the future the vital drinking water cannot be used for sewage, a process which also deteriorates the water quality and makes nutrient recycling more difficult, radically. This is more than waste management; it's about transforming our living spaces and the way we relate to our eco-system. Luna is our first step towards a new circular sanitation paradigm and the  question of sanitation needs to have its central place in our culture - putting LIFE  back into lifestyle.
